One of the most common uses of ozone generator is ozonation of car to remove unpleasant odors<\/strong> Regardless of whether you are dealing with cigarette smoke, musty \/ mold, spilled milk, or any other – using an ozonator, you can easily get rid of them if you follow a few standard p<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\t

STEP 1: PREPARE FOR OZONE TREATMENT<\/h2>\n

Just as with any ozone treatment always start by removing \/ purify the source of the smell ! For example, if you are dealing with mold than mechanically clean the contaminated areas, if possible with the use of cleaning agents and \/ or fungicides. If you have a problem with rodents \/ insects than remove any nests, dead animals, their feces \/ urine that only you can find. If the source of the smell is stain \/ spill on the carpet or upholstery, pre-wash affected area or wash them completely.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\t

STEP 2: SET THE OZONATOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

At this stage, you are ready to use ozone generator. Depending on the type of the ozonator, and the specific situation you can set it inside or outside the car. For many ozone generators (eg. For OZONIZER 7 ) often easiest way is to set it inside the car , on the front passenger seat or armrest and connect to an extension cord. Extension can slip through the slightly opened window or door ajar.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are using ozonator, which has the ability to connect the ventilation pipe at the output of ozone then it can be set outside of the car. STEP 3: OZONE TREATMENT<\/h3>\n

Once or twice during the operation of the ozonator it is advisable to set the ventilation system of the car on a closed circuit and run fans for about 15 minutes. This will cause the ozone is sucked into the ventilation ducts to remove odors from the ventilation system of the car. STEP 4: AFTER OZONE TREATMENT: “THE RESIDUAL SMELL OF OZONE”<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ozone treatment in enclosed spaces often leads to what is known as “residual smell of ozone” .<\/strong> It is a fragrance similar to the odor of ozone, but in fact is a smell of residues (byproducts) after reaction with ozone. It usually appears when the ozone treatment byproducts accumulate on soft surfaces (eg textiles, carpets) It is a temporary smell that disappears after some time.     Please note that both the ozone and carbon monoxide (exhaust fumes) can be dangerous in enclosed spaces .<\/strong> f you are going to ozonate car, which is parked in the garage, be sure to open the door to the garage when you need to start the engine.
